Fulfilment Policy

Last updated: 17/11/2025

This Fulfilment & Credits Policy explains how purchases, credits and AI assessments work on the Slay11Plus web app (“Slay11Plus”, “we”, “us”). It should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Notice.

Slay11Plus is a web app that allows children’s creative writing pieces to be submitted for AI-powered assessment and feedback to support preparation for 11Plus entrance exams to British grammar schools and independent schools.

By creating an account, purchasing credits or using Slay11Plus (including through a linked child account), you agree to this policy.

1. Credits and What They Are Used For

1.1. Slay11Plus uses a credit-based system. Credits can currently be used to pay for:

  • AI assessment of creative writing pieces (“AI Assessments”).

1.2. In future, we may add other services that can be purchased with credits. Any such new services will also be covered by this Fulfilment & Credits Policy unless we clearly state otherwise.

1.3. Credits:

  • Have no cash value;
  • Are not electronic money or a stored-value payment instrument;
  • Cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for cash or other consideration; and
  • Can only be used within Slay11Plus for the services we make available.

2. Free Trial Credits

2.1. When you create a new parent account on Slay11Plus (an adult account used to manage and pay for services), we grant that parent account 30 free credits (“Free Trial Credits”).

2.2. Child accounts linked to a parent account do not receive their own Free Trial Credits. Child accounts consume credits, including any Free Trial Credits, from the associated parent account.

2.3. At the time this policy is written, one AI Assessment costs 30 credits. This means every new parent account can try at least one AI Assessment for free (via a child account submission) before deciding whether to buy additional credits.

2.4. Free Trial Credits:

  • May only be used within Slay11Plus;
  • May be subject to their own expiry period, which will be shown in the app where relevant; and
  • Cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another account.

3. Purchasing Credits

3.1. After using (or in addition to) your Free Trial Credits, you may buy additional credits in the app (“Purchased Credits”) through your parent account.

3.2. When you purchase credits, we will inform you of:

  • The price;
  • The number of credits you will receive; and
  • Any applicable taxes or fees.

3.3. Your order for credits is accepted when we confirm the purchase in the app and/or by email. At that point, the credits will be added to your parent account and are available for immediate use by your linked child account(s).

3.4. By completing the purchase, you acknowledge and expressly agree that:

  • Fulfilment is immediate (credits are delivered as digital content / a digital service); and
  • You lose any statutory right of withdrawal or “cooling-off” period that might otherwise apply to digital content once fulfilment has begun, except where required by law.

Your statutory rights under UK law in respect of defective digital content or services are not affected (see Section 7).

4. Expiry of Credits

4.1. Each time you purchase credits, that purchase creates a separate credit grant (“Credit Grant”).

4.2. Each Credit Grant expires 6 (six) months from the date it is added to your parent account, unless we clearly state otherwise at the time of purchase.

4.3. Credits must be used before their expiry date. After expiry:

  • Any unused credits in that Credit Grant will automatically expire;
  • Expired credits cannot be used to purchase services; and
  • Expired credits will not be refunded or reinstated, except where we choose to do so at our discretion (see Section 6) or where required by law.

4.4. The app will display your current credit balance. Where reasonably possible, we will also show you the relevant expiry dates or order credits so that you use the ones closest to expiry first. However, you are responsible for monitoring and using your credits before they expire.

5. Using Credits for AI Assessments

5.1. Credits can only be spent by child accounts. When a linked child account submits a creative writing piece for an AI Assessment, the applicable number of credits (e.g. 30 credits per assessment at the time of this policy) will be deducted from the parent account’s credit balance.

5.2. The parent account holder must ensure there are sufficient credits on the parent account before a child submits work for assessment. If there are not enough credits, the app will prompt the parent to buy more before the child can continue.

5.3. Once credits have been deducted for an AI Assessment:

  • The assessment is considered fulfilled as soon as the AI-generated results are delivered in the app to the relevant child account and/or parent account;
  • The credits used for that assessment are consumed and cannot be returned or re-used, except in the circumstances set out in Section 6.

6. Service Failures and Our Commitments

6.1. We aim to provide a reliable service. However, from time to time, technical issues may occur (for example, the AI assessment may fail or an error may prevent results from being generated).

6.2. Where an AI Assessment fails due to an error on our side (for example, a technical fault in our systems or the AI provider):

  • We will not refund the original monetary payment for the credits; but
  • We will, at our discretion, make you whole by restoring the credits used for the affected assessment to the parent account or by granting replacement credits of equivalent value.

6.3. If you believe an assessment has failed due to our systems, please contact us as soon as possible with:

  • The email address used for your Slay11Plus parent account;
  • The approximate date and time of the issue; and
  • Any relevant screenshots or error messages.

6.4. We are not responsible for issues caused by:

  • Your internet connection, device, browser or other software;
  • Incorrect or incomplete submissions;
  • Use of Slay11Plus in a manner that breaches our Terms of Use; or
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control (for example, general internet outages).

However, we may still choose, at our sole discretion, to re-credit or otherwise assist as a gesture of goodwill. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.

7. Refunds and Your Statutory Rights

7.1. Purchases of credits are non-refundable.

  • Once you have purchased credits and they have been added to your parent account, we do not provide refunds of the amount paid for those credits; and
  • We do not provide partial refunds for unused, expired or remaining credits.

7.2. This non-refund policy applies because credits are delivered as digital content/services and are made available for immediate use, and because all parent accounts receive Free Trial Credits which allow you to test the service (via a child account submission) before making any purchase.

7.3. However, nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law, including (where applicable):

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015, which may entitle you to remedies where digital content is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described; and
  • Any other non-excludable rights under UK consumer protection law.

7.4. If you believe that we have failed to provide services with reasonable care and skill, or in line with our description, please contact us. We will review your case and, where required by law or appropriate in all the circumstances, may:

  • Re-perform the affected service (for example, repeat an AI Assessment); and/or
  • Restore or grant additional credits; or
  • Consider other appropriate remedies consistent with your legal rights.

8. Pricing, Changes and Discontinuation of Services

8.1. We may change:

  • The price of credits;
  • The number of credits required for particular services (for example, if an AI Assessment will require more or fewer credits in future); or
  • The services that credits can be used for.

8.2. Any such changes will:

  • Not affect credits that have already been used for a fulfilled service; and
  • Apply prospectively to future purchases or future use of credits, after we have given you reasonable notice where required by law or where the change is material.

8.3. If we discontinue a particular service that credits can be used for (for example, if we phase out a specific type of AI Assessment), we will:

  • Provide reasonable notice where practicable; and
  • Where appropriate, allow you to use remaining credits for alternative services or consider other fair options.

9. Account Closure

9.1. If you close your parent account, or your account is closed in accordance with our Terms of Use (for example, for misuse or breach of our rules):

  • Any unused credits on the parent account at the time of closure may be forfeited and cannot be refunded or transferred, except where we are required by law to act otherwise.

9.2. We may, at our discretion, allow you to use remaining credits for a short period before closure takes effect, unless the closure is due to misuse, abuse or unlawful activity.

11. Governing Law

This Fulfilment & Credits Policy and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
