These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Slay11Plus web app (“Slay11Plus”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully.

By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using Slay11Plus (including allowing a child to use a child account), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Slay11Plus.

1. Who We Are

Slay11Plus is operated by Evgeny Bik, a sole trader established in the United Kingdom, trading as Slay11Plus.

2. What Slay11Plus Provides

Slay11Plus provides AI-powered writing assessments to help children prepare for the 11+ entrance exams for grammar schools and independent schools. The platform allows children to submit creative writing pieces and receive automated assessment results based on commonly recognised writing criteria.

Slay11Plus may also offer related educational features such as progress tracking.

Slay11Plus is primarily a consumer service for parents and children, but tutors, tuition centres and schools may also use it for their pupils. They must comply with these Terms and must not commercialise, resell, or repackage Slay11Plus content or outputs.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

3.1 Parent Accounts

A parent or responsible adult creates a Slay11Plus account using an email and password. We do not verify age, but by creating a parent account you confirm that you are an adult and responsible for supervising any child who uses the service.

3.2 Child Accounts

Parents may create separate child accounts inside the app. Child accounts:

  • Use only a username and password
  • Do not require or collect an email address
  • Draw credits from the parent account
  • Are fully visible and manageable by the parent

3.3 Parental Responsibility

Parents are solely responsible for:

  • Supervising the child’s use of the service
  • Monitoring submissions
  • Preventing misuse
  • Ensuring children do not waste credits
  • Ensuring children do not submit inappropriate content

Slay11Plus does not provide parental control tools and does not monitor or verify the identity or age of child users.

4. Use of the Service

You must use Slay11Plus lawfully and appropriately. You must not:

  • Submit offensive, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content
  • Submit copyrighted material you do not have the right to use
  • Harass, impersonate, or harm others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or misuse our AI systems
  • Use Slay11Plus commercially (including selling assessments or outputs)

Tutors may use Slay11Plus with their pupils only as an educational tool. Tutors must not resell, relicense, or charge specifically for the use of Slay11Plus assessments.

5. Credits and Payments

Purchases of credits and the use of credits are governed by our separate Fulfilment & Credits Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

By purchasing credits, you agree to the Fulfilment & Credits Policy.

Key points (full policy prevails):

  • Credits are non-refundable
  • Credits expire 6 months after purchase
  • Credits are spent by child accounts when submitting writing
  • Misuse, poor-quality submissions, or user errors do not qualify for refunds
  • Failed assessments caused by our systems may result in credits being restored (at our discretion)

6. AI Assessments and Important Disclaimers

Slay11Plus uses AI models to generate assessments. AI is powerful, but not perfect. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI may make mistakes, including in grammar, spelling, scoring, or interpretation
  • AI assessments are subjective and rely on patterns in the submitted text
  • AI outputs do not guarantee any particular exam result or school outcome
  • AI outputs must be reviewed by a parent, adult, or tutor
  • We provide assessments “as is”, without any warranties

School admissions disclaimer

Slay11Plus does not guarantee:

  • Entrance into any grammar or independent school
  • Accuracy of predicted outcomes
  • That AI outputs reflect any school’s marking scheme

You agree not to hold Slay11Plus liable for any exam performance, missed school offers, or consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated assessments.

Scanned handwriting disclaimer

If you use the scan feature:

  • OCR (Optical Character Recognition) may misread handwriting
  • Poor handwriting, low-quality images, shadows, angles, etc. may affect assessment quality
  • Misrecognition may affect spelling, punctuation, and grammar scoring
  • Credits will not be refunded for assessments affected by OCR limitations

You use the scan feature entirely at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Rights

Children and parents retain full ownership of original writing submissions.

7.2 Licence to Slay11Plus

By submitting writing, you grant Slay11Plus a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to:

  • Process the writing
  • Display results inside the parent and child accounts
  • Store submissions for progress tracking
  • Delete submissions upon your request

We do not use your writing for training AI models, marketing, or sharing with third parties.

7.3 Our Rights

All Slay11Plus content — including assessments, feedback, scoring logic, software, graphics, progress dashboards, and other materials — is owned by Slay11Plus.

You must not:

  • Copy or redistribute our content
  • Sell or license our assessments or outputs
  • Build competing products using our materials

8. Service Availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep Slay11Plus available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

You acknowledge that:

  • Outages, maintenance, and technical issues may occur
  • AI providers or cloud platforms may experience downtime
  • We may suspend access temporarily for updates or security reasons

We are not liable for losses caused by temporary unavailability of the service.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Misuse the service
  • Submit harmful or illegal content
  • Attempt to exploit or attack the system
  • Engage in fraud or abuse credits

Parents may delete their accounts and child accounts at any time through the app.

Deleting an account immediately deletes all associated personal data, except for activity logs retained for 2 years as explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under UK law:

  • Slay11Plus is provided “as is” and “as available”

  • We exclude all implied warranties relating to accuracy, fitness for purpose, and reliability

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • We do not guarantee exam performance, marks, or school outcomes

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Misrecognised handwriting
    • Poor-quality scans
    • AI misinterpretations
    • User error, misuse, or frivolous submissions
    • Internet connectivity or device issues

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where such exclusion would be unlawful.

11. Privacy

Your use of Slay11Plus is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:

  • What data we collect
  • How we process it
  • How AI is used
  • How you can exercise your rights

The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We will give reasonable notice via email or in the app for material changes.

Continued use of Slay11Plus after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute or claim will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
